Structural Engineering Technologist

Schorn Consultants Inc. (SCI) is currently seeking an intermediate level Engineering Technologist for their structural and civil work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved through all stages of the projects, from design development to construction documents. This opportunity would allow you to utilize your technical capabilities as well as develop strong relationships within the industry.

Requirements:

• Diploma as a Civil Engineering Technician /Technologist
• 3 to 15 years experience in design and coordination of building structures
• Design / drafting experience using AutoCAD, or Revit
• The ability to prepare drawings, specifications and reports
• Eligible for registration for the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists
• The desire to work on both small and on large multi-disciplinary teams
• Good analytical and communication skills
